Exceptional dining experience with the Kayseki style Japanese food (just one table with 8-9 chairs, nothing more), with the Michelin starred chef that prepares with his hands many different sushi combinations in front of you. Worth the stop! Thank you. Food quality is amazing, service is perfect and the ambience is minimalist, clean and intimate.

The BEST Omakase experience! The food was thoughtfully prepared and made. Chef and staff were attentive, playful and so kind. What I appreciate the most about this experience was how unpretentious it was and everyone was just enjoying VERY INCREDIBLE food in a relaxed setting. We had the sashimi and sushi omakase dinner menu, looking forward to try the other menus in future. Highly recommend!

A small, intimate japanese omakase with just 7-8 seats. The experience was truly amazing, highlighted by the chef's passion for Japanese cuisine and his attentive service. A memorable part of the meal was the variety of rare Japanese citrus. The standout was the sea urchin - undoubtedly one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. Please go there with someone special, and appreciate the master’s skills and knowledge. Worth every penny.

Amazing surprise. I bopped in with no expectations, not knowing the reputation this spot had, but I can say the reputation is well deserved. Very fish-forward but playful sushi from a great chef who is also a great host. For dinner you need a reservation well in advance, but for lunch you can get lucky like me and land a seat with the chef.

If you love Sushi and Sashimi, this is a place you must try!!! Excelente place to eat very very fresh Sushi and Sashimi, the combination of flavor is extra ordinary! Chef Paulo Morais use real Japanese products and combine it with very fresh selected local fish and seafood in Portugal and this really make a big difference in Sushi. He drive to the south to select fruits and vegetable by himself in an organic farm. He use many kind of citric fruits which is very rare to find in Europe that give us totally new experience with wonderful flavors that explore in our mouth!! And he really explain everything while he is cutting fish and making sushi in front of us.. Very interesting experience!!! 5 stars!!!

A truly amazing experience with the most friendly service from Paulo and Hugo. We had the nine course with drinks (150 EUR per person) and every dish astounded us. The sashimi and sushi was fresh, leveraging local seafood where possible (including sea urchin). One dish focused on tomatoes and every piece was unique and spectacular. Well worth the cost and if nine dishes is too much, go for the five course which others were having. A recognition as well to Pauli’s daughter who folds the tiniest origami cranes I have ever seen.

I’m originally from Kyoto, Japan, and moved to Lisbon last year. Last night, I found this restaurant satisfied my needs and crave for authentic Japanese foods. Chef Paulo fit right in at the counter, and I felt as if I was in Japan. Ingredients were all very fresh, many rarely found in European markets, and I was very much impressed and grateful for that. Chef Paulo keeps the tradition of Japanese kaiseki, and his ingenuity, originality and skills make each dish very special. For instance, sushi rice is mixed with milder red rice vinegar, kizami-wasabi as well as regular wasabi, and soy sauce uniquely mixed with uni and citrus, etc, - subtle, but definitely brings new experience of tastes. The 7 course menu made my palate very happy, and the pleasant memories of special dinner will stay with me for a long time.
